What is RPL?
Recognition of prior learning (RPL), is a process for giving candidates credit for skills, knowledge and experience gained through working and learning. It can be gained at any stage of their lives, through formal and informal learning, in Australia or overseas, through work or other activities such as volunteering.

What types of courses do we offer?
We have over 300 courses on offer and RPL works for just about anything including Plumbing, Gas Fitting, Building and Construction, Plumbing and Services, Glass and Glazing, Bricklaying/Blocklaying, Carpentry, Concreting, Painting and Decorating, Solid Plastering, Wall and Ceiling Lining, Wall and Floor Tiling, Construction Waterproofing, Formwork / Falsework, Beauty, Business, IT, Events.
If the qualification is listed on the Long Term or Medium Term Skilled Occcupation List they need the course or qualification to apply for the skilled visa. They can use this qualification when applying for the skilled visa. They will need to speak with a migration agent or check the skilled list for themselves. The course or qualification needs to be on the Skilled Migration List.
Process and Requirements
The requirements for processing RPL are dependant on the course. However, the general rule is that we require the following:
– Working photos x 20 and
video of 1min x2
– Reference letter from 2 different employers
– Resume (Matched to reference letter)
– 100 points of identification
– USI number
– Any related qualifications
